Most of these herbs are antiseptic, preventing wound infections, antimicrobial, preventing microbial growth, anti-inflammatory, calming the skin down and regulating skin pH and moisture content. These herbs are also filled with antioxidants, fatty acids, and vitamins. Yarrow is known for its ability to stop bleeding. Rosehips are known to contain a high vitamin C content helping produce collagen. Rosemary is loved for its high acidic compounds and anti-inflammatory effects.
